BACTERIOSTATIC WATER – 30ml

Due to the continuing shortage of Hospira products, we are now stocking our own brand Bacteriostatic Water. This product has been produced for us in a sterile packing facility, using pharmaceutical grade materials.

DESCRIPTION

Bacteriostatic Water is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) of benzyl alcohol added as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is supplied in a multiple-dose container from which repeated withdrawals may be made to reconstitute peptides. The pH is 5.7 (4.5 to 7.0).

Our Bacteriostatic Water is specifically designed to support peptide research, as it will inhibit bacterial activity and thus mitigate the risk of bacterial activity disrupting the research. Its use in human applications is not permitted.

This product is presented as a multi-dose vial. Once opened, it has a shelf life of 28 days. Storage in a fridge is recommended,  – this will ensure efficacy throughout its use.
